Bridging Our Community

Summit Basketball is proud to be one of the first organizations actively bringing together the different parts of Quebec City's English-speaking basketball community.

One of the ways we're doing this is by breaking down the traditional boundaries between our English-speaking elementary and high schools. Beginning in September 2026, players from across the English-speaking community will be welcome to attend open gyms hosted at St. Patrick's High School, Quebec High School, and Dollard-des-Ormeaux School, regardless of which school they currently attend.

Our goal is simple: create more opportunities for young athletes to play, improve, build friendships, and strengthen our basketball community as one.

All open gyms will be listed on the calendar above and will be identified as "OPEN GYM – [School Name]".

You can quickly sync our events to your calendar using the widget on this page.

1. Locate the button: 

   • On mobile: Look at the bottom-right of the calendar for the small "+".

   • On computer: Look at the bottom-left corner of the calendar, where it is written "Add to Google Calendar". 

2. Tap or click: Select the small + Google Calendar button.

3. Open the calendar:

   • On mobile: Your phone will ask you to open the link with Google Calendar or with your browser.

   • On computer: A new desktop browser tab will open automatically. 

4. Confirm subscription: A pop-up message will ask if you want to add this calendar. Select Add or Yes.

5. Turn on notifications: Find our calendar under Other calendars in your Google Calendar menu, tap or click the three vertical dots next to it, select Settings, and add your preferred alert times.
